Before you rush into booking a Past Life Regression Interview it is important that you read the following:
Things you Need to be Aware of in Past Life Regression
The hypnosis aspect of Past Life regression is standard and all said and done it is a state of deep relaxation similar to the state you enter just prior to falling asleep. You may find it difficult to enter hypnosis if you find it extremely hard to realx or switch off. The more you relax the deeper you can go into hypnosis and this facilitates past life regression. People who are very left brained or overly analytical can also put up blocks or resist hypnosis or regression. Hypnosis involves teamwork and is not something a therapist does to their client. Therefore a degree of cooperation is needed from the client to ensure their successful entry into hypnosis. The hypnotherapist acts as the facilitator for this process. The actual regression down through your current life e.g your teenage years, and then young childhood is interesting and often quite fascinating when you discover you are able to remember and recall scenes or incidents that you had all but forgotten. It is also amazing to actually see yourself quite vividly as a young child. In fact it can be quite emotional in a nice way and often brings tears. Regardless of the fact that you may have forgotten some of these often incidental memories they are still part of your current life and therefore not too much of a shock or revelation when they are disclosed. Past Life Regression - The Good, The Bad and The Downright Ugly You are then regressed back to the womb and then beyond to a time between lives place. Then you are gently guided back to earth to enter a past life. During the hypnotic procedure suggestions are given to the subconscious that the past life entered will be relevant to the current life and a life that the client is ready to and able to deal with. However we then enter unknown territory and cannot predetermine which life is arrived at and what it is going to be like, who you are going to be like, and what your circumstances are going to be like. As we all know, for many of us, the life we live today, our current life, is not always happy. In fact it can be darn right traumatic and painful. There are loves and losses, health issues and also the death of those close to you. There can be accidents and violence, arguments and family rifts. There can be poverty and lonliness. There can be abuse and control or intimidation. There can be war and hunger. Yes we acknowledge that for many of us, life is not a bed of roses or a walk in the park by any means. However, these circumstances are known to us and therefore we can understand and accept them to a certain extent. When you enter a Past Life you have no idea of what you are about to encounter and it cannot be planned for. Many people who come to me for their initial interview have not taken this into account and often enertain romantic notions of lives with long flowing dresses, old fashioned settings and interesting lifestyles. Some believe that they were definitely a certain famous character or had special skills. When I point out that that while the life they encounter may be quite ordinary with the normal sets of ups and downs or it may be exceptionally happy with no deprivation or despair and even quite plain and simplistic, I also have to point out that on the otherhand it can also be an unhappy one, a traumatic one, a violent one, a life of deprivation, a life of disease or war or a life of abuse and despair it can come as quite a shock to some clients. The first signs of wavering occur at this stage. When I also point out that in that life time they may not have been nice, not as nice as the person they are now, maybe not nice at all, the client can be even more shocked. People believe that just because they are lovely people in this life, a good family man or an excellent mother, kind to animals and always there for their friends that surely they were always like this. Unfortunately I have to help clients to understand that, that may not be the case in all of their past lives and possibly not in the one they enter during regression. Again, there are no guarantees. We have all lived hundreds, if not thousands of lives and I guarantee you that we were not always Mr nice guy. As one goes back through the centuries and examines the lifestyles and nature of humans in general during certain eras it can be enough to make your toes curl. Humans have been violent, barbaric, murderous, heartless, uncaring, compassionless, greedy, mean, controlling and a host of other dreadful things. Many would say that we haven't changed much today but the world we live in today is far more civilised even though it still has a lot of progress to make. Humans evolve spiritually over thousands of lifetimes and will live life from every perspective in that time. Therefore, we could all probably have to accept that over our lifetimes we have been both horrible and lovely, poor/wealthy, victim/perpetrator, violent/peaceful, murderer/murdered, torturer/tortured, abandoned family/abandoned, loved/unloved, lonely/supported healthy/diseased, famous/a nobody, celebrated/infamous, hero/coward, controlling/dominated, saintly/devilish, criminal/lawful, holy/unholy, successful/failure, died young/died old, died peacefully/died horribly, charitable/mean, aggressive/passive........The list could go on and on but like it or not all of these are a probability and have to be accepted if you wish to embark on a journey into past lives . We are here afterall to learn and to evolve. We do that by learning from our past mistakes and making a better attempt the next time round. If we are truthful and honest, most of us could put our hand on our heart and admit our failings in this life. Some of these failings we actively try to and succeed in overcoming. For others however, those failings are very serious. Our prisons are bursting at the seams, our forensic teams overworked, children abused, families destroyed by drugs, alcohol and violence, children killing children etc For others their failings are minor within the lives they lead and could with effort be sorted. Any one of us who are alive at the moment are here because we are still learning and carry some form of karma be it a debt or a credit that needs to be worked on and worked out. If we still have a long way to go then imagine what we were like when we first started out in our incarnations. Very frightening indeed I would imagine. So how can you be sure you only go to a life which was pleasant and not traumatic. The truth is it is not possible. Certainly, the suggestion is implanted during hypnosis that the life you recall will be one that you are ready to recall. However most clients are looking to visit lives that are relevant to their current life. I do have to remind clients that the life that is relevant may not be what they think or imagine it is going to be. The client may have relationship issues in this life or a chronic condition and believe that it has its roots in another lifetime. The current issues may not be groundshaking or a life or death situation, but the roots may be very unpleasant indeed. Taking Off the Rose Tinted Glasses As a Past Life Therapist my role is not to scare my client but I do have to ask them to be realistic in what they are asking for and what they expect. Sometimes that involves taking off the rose tinted glasses they have been wearing when it comes to past life regression. The client needs to ask of themself if they are ready to see or face the truth of their past personalities and deeds, especially if they were not very nice? They need to ask if they are ready to accept that it was a past life that has already been lived and is now over and the person they are today is an evolved version of the old one? They need to ask if they are ready to accept that they may not have been very nice in the past life they visit? This is 'Crunch Time' for some clients who then decide to leave their fascination with past life just as it is, a fascination and explore it no further on a personal level. They admit they are not yet ready or not yet prepared to face what their unknown past may contain. The next issue which needs to be addressed is the probability of encountering characters in a past life who are also in the current life. This sounds wonderful indeed but can be very emotional when it occurs. Typically, the recognition is not by appearances as sometimes the gender has changed but through the eyes. The eyes are the windows to the soul and although the physcial body may change from lifetime to lifetime the soul remains constant. What can bring up emotion is suddenly recognising that you son or daughter in a past life is again your son or daughter in your current life. This encounter can be so emotional that the regression often has to go on hold until the client is ready to move on. The sudden knowledge of the soul connection and the history and obvious karma involved can be overwhelming even when the relationship in your past life was happy and loving. But what if you had abandoned your child or family, or were cruel and neglectful of that person in your past life, will you be able to deal with that and accept that the person you were then is not the person you are now? Will you be able to accept that your journey again with the soul of your child is probably linked to making up for your past issues? Can you accept that and leave it behind or will you take it home with you and brood on it making you feel like a bad person? Dealing with Death Then there is your final death scene. We all know that not all of us die peacefully in our old age in this life. We all know someone who has died as a result of violence, disease, war, accidents, drowning, car crashes, suicide or before their tim etc. Your past lives are no different. You have to accept that if you lived thousands of lives you will also have died thousands of times and in just about every way possible. The life you access through past life regression and the death at the end of it may not be very pleasant. You are given the tools under hypnosis to detach yourself from any unpleasant scene at any stage and view it remotely or in a detached emotional manner and to be honest most clients report on their death scene in a calm almost casual manner. Some people have a phobia or great fear of death and panic about the very notion of going through their death scene in a past life. You must ask yourself if you are prepared to accept from the outset that the nature of your death in the past life your regress to may not be very pleasant? In the days that follow a Past Life Regression you may feel stangely odd about yourself and this new found other you. You may carry around the imprint of that life for a few days or so. You may brood on it and even worry about whether you are making the same mistakes again and the fact that it is possible that you are. You may feel odd about the current life characters you met in your previous life. You may indeed have strong vivid dreams in the nights following your regression where you access the past life again. You may get flashbacks of the life during your daily activities. These occurances wear off after a few days and are perfectly normal but not everyone can deal with it and clients will often express their fears about how the information revealed in a past life regression may effect their current one. Most people are fascinated by their voyage of discovery and are eager to share with their friends their story and even want to come back again for more. Most people are grateful for the deep insights they have gained as a result of remembering their past life and build their resolve that they will do the best they can in this life. They believe knowledge is power. For many clients, the actual fact of going through their death scene removes the great fear they have surrounding death and their experience of their soul detaching from their body is one of great peace, serenity and calmness. So eager are they to be off to the spirit world I often have to encourage them to linger a while to give me details of the behaviour of the other past life characters regarding the clients death in that life. I try to get them to hang around and report back on what type of funeral they have and who attends. You need to ask how you think you will react to your death scene in a past life? Contraindications to Hypnosis and Past Life Regression There are certain conditions in the human body that are not suitable to hypnosis or regression to a previous life. As a therapist I must take these seriously and therefore will not be able to consider clients who are suffering from the following: Alcoholism Drug Addiction Substance Abuse Epilepsy Depression Clinical Depression Bi-Polar Depression Personality Disorders Mental Health Problems Strong Emotiional Problems Anyone under the care of the Mental Health Professionals Am I suitable for Past Life Regression? The following list has been compiled by me and is the guidline and criteria I set for accepting clients for Past Life Regression. Please review the list carefully and be honest in your answers. I will be able to observe any the conditons listed below and unfortunately will have to decline the booking. Please be advised that these are my guidlines and other past life therapists may be more flexible. If you discover that you are not suitable for regression through hypnosis but are still interested in pursuing and exploring your past lives then you can use other methods to access them such as guided meditations, psychic readings and even dowsing. When reading these guidelines I refer to medium to extreme cases. We all have mild fears and concerns. We would not be human if we didn't. If you answer yes to any of the following please do not book a Past Life Redgression Intake Interview: These Guidelines refer only to Moderate or Extreme cases and not mild except where stated *Have you fears about being regressed? *Are you generally a fearful type of person? *Are you Overly Emotional? *Are you Overly Sensitive? *Are you generally a nervy type of person? *Do You Suffer with your nerves? *Are you highly strung? *Do you fear that Past Life Regression may be against your Religion? *Will you not be able to accept that your past life may be traumatic? (all cases) *Will you not be able to accept that you may not have been very nice in your past life? (all cases) *Will you not be able to deal with your death scene? (all cases) *Do you have fears about hypnosis even though you are aware that you do not go unconscious and do not lose control? *Is someone else forcing you into getting a past life regression because they think it will be good for you? (all cases) The above guidlines have been set for the benefit of both client and therapist. The main thing that will block you entering a past life even if you have successfully entered hypnosis is, fear. When I speak of fear I relate to all the conditions described above. The next block to entering a past life is having a determined and fixed idea that your current life issues are related to a past life or lives. They may not be, and therefore you may block a wonderful adventure by this obsession. The more you relax, the more open you are about what you may discover the more your chances are of regressing successfully and exploring in-depth one of your past lives. I have conducted some absolutely amazing regressions with rivetting story lines and characters. Some of my clients once past the death scene are very priviliged to be allowed access to their soul's journey and enter the spirit world where they give detailed accounts of their intial meetings with guides and the souls of deceased loved ones. Some even journey on further and encounter the Council of Elders where they review the life just lived. They give information on the size of their soul group and also on their soul's abilities and soul level. If I have a suitable subject I will encourage this extra part of the journey and glean as much information as possible regarding the spirit world. It is the depth of hypnosis that determines this ability. To gain access into the spirit world requires communication through the superconscious and not just the subconscious. Certain personality types, especially predominantly right brained people or people who are familiar with meditation are able to achieve deeper levels of hypnosis for this type of regression. How Much Does a Past Life Regression Cost? Past Life Regression is not suitable for everyone and like any other therapy or procedure there are certain contraindications that may restrict you from either been hypnotised or regressed. As a result no regression can be booked without a prior intake interview to establish suitablity. This interview is for the benefit of both client and therapist. A therapist must consider many things before conducting a regression and a client may have questions that need answering before they are happy to actually book a regression. Therefore the initial intake interview is essential. The intake interview can be carried out in two ways. The first is by making an actual appointment to meet face to face onsite. The intake interview takes approximately one and a half hours. An onsite interview costs €25 The second manner in carrying out an intake interview is by email and phone. All the necessary paperwork, questionaires and forms are forwarded to you by email. There is a 5 minutes recorded hypnosis suggestion test that is also forwarded to you as a download link. You must follow the instructions as given for the recording and then reply to me with the required feedback along with all the necessary paperwork. Once this has been completed a follow up phone call is made so that both therapist and client can deal with any issues on both sides. The cost of the Distant intake interview is free of charge. The Distant interview is suitable for those who may be travelling a considerable distance for their regression and so making two trips may not be feasible and also costly. As a Past Life Regression Therapist the final decision as to suitability will lie with me and if I feel it necessary to decline you, the client's regression request, the reasons for my decision will be discussed with you. With both the onsite and distant intake interview, it is essential that you are honest and open when completing all paperwork and answering questionaires. The Past Life Regression itself costs €85 and can take up to three hours. The cost includes a CD copy of your recorded session. Only one Past Life per regression will be covered. As a Past Life Regression Hypnotherapist, I will do all in my professional ability to assist you to enter one of your Past Lives. However, regardless of apparent prior suitablity, there is still no guarantee that you will actually enter a Past Life even if you are in a deep state of Hypnosis. Past Life Regression is not something that a therapist does to or for their client, leaving their client free to sit back and let it all happen. The therapist only can assist the client and act as a facilitator for the process. In my experience, I have only encountered a very small precentage of clients where repeated attempts to regress them into a past life have failed. This is not to say that they will not at a later date regress quite easily and quite quickly. There are many reasons why a client may unconsciously block attempts to regress even if the client has a conscious burning desire to do so. I have discussed some of these possible reasons or causes in the Past Life Client Information Page. For Further information on Past Lives please go to Understanding Past Lives and Past Life Regression Hypnotherapy Past Life Regression and Life Between Life Regression is still at it's Pioneering stage and so we are all still learning. This applies to both Therapist and Client. No one of us have all the answers to our Soul's Journey, the whys and wherefores of it all but for those who with hand on heart desire to take that journey into the unknown in perfect trust and awareness and then travel back even just to get a glimpse, are sometimes transformed by what they discover about their true self. If you are still determined to journey to a Past Life via hypnosis, please re-read this page before making a booking. After that, I will do all within my abilities as a Spiritual Hypnotherapist , to successfully take you on that journey and back again. Blessings, Vivien Ni Dhuinn |
