Conor's illness and eventual death touched and impacted the lives of so many people. I always knew that I had so many wonderful people around me and that I was blessed with my family and friends. However, I was still unprepared for the overwhelming support both emotional and practical, the compassion, generosity, sensitivity and kindness that poured forth constantly from not only family, friends and neighbours but also the community at large. Also, the genuine kindness of strangers will stay with me forever. I will never be able to thank all those involved for I know many of you worked annonymously in the background and so cannot be individually named. However, you know who you are and please know that I have never forgotten or taken for granted all that you did during those dark days. For those of you who are known to me I would like to Thank and Acknowledge the following people My Daughter Katie & her Boyfriend John Paul Cooney Friends Margot Gorman Marie Mulhearn Maura Cannavan Inge Enright Avril Murhphy Gretchen Ridgeway Richard Millea Conor's Friends Aaron Mulhern Marc Mulhern Adam Cully Stephen Mangan Daire Cannavan Aoife Cannavan Phoeboe Dunne Nicholas Lynch Isabellle Lynch Sean Secca Aoife Lynch All his Wonderful School Friends in Scoil Padraig, Clane, Co. A kind and gentle person, who sensitively guided me through all the necessary arrangements for Conor's special day and final journey. The way you celebrated his funeral mass was suitable and fitting for a child. No heavy religious wording or slants. Your words touched all our hearts and left me with beautiful memories of such a special occassion. Thank you for the lovely words and blessings at his tree planting ceremony in the school and yet again at the ceremony orrganised by his classmates on his first anniversary. It was with you he made his communion and therefore only right that you should be the one to bless his final journey.
